About my ALES 204 class

Today I finished my last class of ales 204. It is not a short time to go through it.I knew many new friends there and I know we have very friendly and warm-heart TAs. It is really interesting and helpful for every student I believe.
In this class, we got much clearly knowledge of some popular social work communication tools such as twitter. It is my first time to use twitter instead of email to talk with teacher. A very different and amazing feeling strike me. I never imagine that we can use something like twitter and facebook for class. After that, I built my first blog during this class. I heard blog many years before while I never did it. And before this class I didn’t know how interesting blog could be.
With this class, I learned how to do review, create CV and expanse Wikipedia. It does helpful for us to be more and more sensitive with the change of our life and development of society.
It is a nice class for people to learn something.

What do we get from new social techonolgy?

With the development of technology especially of network and computer science, people have more and more accesses to get in touch with other people. We can use network to work at home, study with classmates at anywhere we are and can get everything without going outside. It makes our life much easier than before.

As twitter, a not very fresh to you but definitely new to human beings. It does a lot to make people’s social relationship much different than before. Several decades ago, if we want to ask our friends going out to have a travel, we may mail him or her some weeks ago if he or she lives very far away from us. It was not so easy for us to communicate with others in that period.

The same thing if we want to do twenty years ago , we should make a call which was much convenient for us to communicate with others than before. But most of people didn’t like this way to chat or treat communication as another kind of entertainment. Later we had email , a new kind of access for people to make communication much cheaper , easier and more interesting. But at that time, if we wanted to check email , we still have to find a computer with network access.

But now, with the development of internet , we can have network access anywhere with 3g and wifi. And now we don’t have to carry our laptop anywhere we go because our smart cellphone can do almost everything what computer could do for us.

Twitter makes communication much easier and interesting than before. We can share anything we had seen and twits it sharing the emotion with whom we want to share. With the blog application, we can post any picture we have seen on our blogs anywhere.And in my ales 204 class, instructor could us the blog to tell us what we would do in next class.Also she could share some interesting things with her students on the blogs.It makes relationship between teacher and students much closer.

Our society developing more and more faster than before, people should change their own paces to follow the whole society. The new kind of tech help us handle information faster.

My first wikipedia work

After chose the stub which I would work on, I started finding and collecting the data I might use. In the process to find information , I knew more about what I am working on. I searched on the internet and reviewed some things I have learned before, it’s really a good way to get knowledge even if you are going to tell some other persons some information.My topic is “The four regents of Kangxi Emperor” which is related to ancient Chinese history. I am really interested in history. When I read the stories about what happened many centuries ago, I will feel like I am experiencing what happened to them. It could be a very exciting feeling for me to learn more about what happened on me now. This is my wiki assignment here.

The topic is “the four regents of Kangxi Emperor”. Shunzhi Emperor (father of Kangxi Emperor)and Empress Dowager Xiaozhuang learned the lessons of history to avoid the weaknesses of Wai Qi (who relatives of a ruler or a king or an emperor on his mother's or wife's side) in Han dynasty, court eunuch in Ming dynasty, empress dowager in Liao dynasty and royal highness in early Qing dynasty, they nominated ministers to oversee government. They also knew the danger of Zhang Juzheng`s dictatorship in Ming dynasty during Wanli Emperor`s minority so that they chose four ministers who could assist and pin each other down. These four ministers were Sonin,Ebilun, Suksaha and Oboi.

 Then I found another student Vlatko Slocuk who focus on video gaming in Cananda. It is a very interesting topic. I do learn more than game than before after read that. I agree with his point in his blog that “video game industry is not the evil it is portrayed out to be and there is much good coming from it”.

Social media uesd for business

   When you see this it means I can use social media for business purpose.cheers.I put everything I can think about on my facebook page.Biography and introducing about myself.I have to say it`s gonna be an important toolment for employer to find talents and employee to find job.Facebook and twitter offer us more opportunities than before.I think I will use it to find my dream job for further future.I upload some pics of my facebook to flickr.
   I search on Internet "how to use facebook for business",it comes out many websites teaching you about it.Like this one , 32 Ways to Use Facebook for Business.It really do remind me something about how to make page more trustful.
  Social media make the whole world smaller.I can get what other people think about even they live in the other side of the world."facebook can also be a way to let those thousands and thousands of colleagues, managers, supervisors, etc. know that you exist"which I find in my classmate Linda Phan`s blog post. People don`t have to take interviews in every companies.It should be a convenient way for everyone to save time.

ALES204:Introductory about myself

Thank for god that I have chance to use this kind of social media tool to introduce myself.

According to these info ,you can find out that English isn`t my first language hence I would make some mistake in my  introductory.

I come from China.It is a great country not only about its population.When people mention China,china,great wall and manufacturing.Definitely when you have chance to visit China,you will love this country.

I like play computer game.Like many young boy I play world of warcraft.It is a really good game .And also I thank network does a good job for our life.

I major in Agriculture Business Management .It is an awesome field.You should have to learn about plants ,animals and business.It combines different kinds of subjects.Because of this reason,I believe social communication will be much important in this field .People can`t   expert at all parts of study.I like doing work by myself because I think it will be inconvenience for other people.I tried my best to learn everything I need to use in my study.While at last, I failed all of them.When I wanted to know how to use statistics to find out how many people do online shopping,I don`t have time to analyse why they prefer this way to shop.With the development of tech , we have more access to make study easier.I can form a group then share matirials by Internet.After busy work, it will be awesome to chat online and share some intresting video.Network make life easier and happier.

And also in my major, people have to go to ranch and comunicate with different kind of people.Maybe they are farmers or workers.Like the first year I was in one class about animals.I went to a farm.I wanted to know some information about chicken while I didn`t think I have ability to make my point clear because I think I am not good at English.

Frankly,I don`t like to comunicate with any other strange person even I know they are friendly.I am an  introversive people,I will be shy to talk with girls and I know it is not good for my study.This term I find 204 talks about communication I think it will be helpful for even I know there must be a lot of presentations and communications.I told myself that will be ok.I have to try something I never do before.
